On 4-11.06 in Wierzchosławice near Tarnów, young people from five countries were hosted. At the invitation of the HEART association from Tarnowiec, young people from Poland, Romania, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Portugal took part in the “Modern European” youth exchange implemented under the Erasmus + program. It was the first such project for the HEART association. A group of 40 young people spent eight days at the Polish Village Culture Center in Wierzchosławice, taking part in educational activities. The main task of the project participants taking part in the “Modern European” youth exchange was to find an answer to the question of how to become modern Europeans. During the youth exchange, there were, among others: numerous discussions, interactions with the local community, national evenings during which young people presented their countries to their colleagues, educational activities during which video materials, multimedia presentations and photo galleries, evaluation classes were created. Young people from Poland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Portugal and Romania have also created the “Modern European” Internet platform, which in the future is to provide participants and organizations participating in the project with a space to continue joint international activities initiated during the youth exchange. At present, in each of the countries of origin of the participants of the youth exchange, activities are carried out to disseminate the results and achievements of the “Modern European” project. The project will end on June 30, 2021.
